Nahant was visited again in May by North Atlantic right whales.

These extraordinary videos show the Fin Whale - the second largest animal on earth (only the Blue Whale is larger) and North Atlantic right whales. In some of the videos you can actually see the right whales opening their mouths to take in plankton-filled water. You can also see the distinctive callosity patterns on their heads which allow ID of each whale.
